| The Qwest Energy Canadian Specialty Energy Fund (the "Fund") was specifically
designed for accredited investors only and is an open-ended investment trust with a continuous offering of Series A and F Units on a private placement basis. The investment focus of the Fund is the energy industry. The Fund will acquire and manage equity investments and convertible debt securities in private and publicly traded companies focused on conventional oil and gas exploration and development, the oil sands,
unconventional types including CBM (coal-bed methane), oil and gas services, transportation and
